Our
**Pipelines **business was re-established just over 2 years ago and is in strong growth mode, providing trade solutions to a large trade customer base, residential solutions to home builders and solutions to the civil market. We lead the way in supplying Pipeline products, and our strength in this area will see the business’s continued growth and success.

**The role**

Reporting to the Head of National Sales, we have an exciting opportunity in this role, where you’ll join a growing part of the Mico business as we take greater strides back into the Pipelines sector and lead the way again

As the National Pipelines Business Development Manager you will provide specialist sales capability and leadership in pipelines that accelerates sales growth across the Mico salesforce and our branch network. You’ll be responsible for identifying and pursuing pipelines sales opportunities, and developing and delivering a successful sales strategy across the pipelines segment, delivering market share, share of wallet and margin growth. You’ll also provide training and development to the Mico sales teams and to our branch network to help develop product knowledge and achieve and better their sales targets and strengthen the customer experience.

**About you**

Your relationship skills will prove invaluable, as you work with the teams and your peers, as well as building and strengthening relationships with key customers and stakeholders. With a collaborative style, you will know how to get the best out of people and will enjoy seeing others grow and succeed. You’ll model a strong customer service culture and build and foster positive relationships between the sales team and the teams in the branches, to ensure high level service delivery.

Success in this role is about your strong collaboration skills, strength in sales leadership and technical knowledge of the Pipelines business We’re looking for someone who will empower our teams and grow the Pipelines business, so relationship skills are key. Your general business acumen will be a great advantage in maximising the profitability of the regions, through maintaining budget alignment, and actively seeking out opportunities to improve performance and reduce costs, as well as developing and implementing regional sales and marketing plans.

The flexibility to travel throughout New Zealand is a must for this role, to stay in touch with the teams and your customers. Attending customer and company events is occasionally required, but we’re a business that’s mindful of a healthy work-life balance.
