Here in New Zealand, STIHL has been a leading force in outdoor power equipment for over 40 years.We have an award-winning independent Dealer Network with over 100 stores and now is your chance to become part of our success story as we continue to grow and strive to ensure that every Kiwi gets to know our brand and our products.The Role: As the National Sales Manager, you'll lead our Sales, E-commerce and Customer Service teams and contribute to our company sales strategies and growth.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
You will bring your strong relationship skills into this role which will help to identify new business opportunities.
You will also lead and motivate our sales team to exceed sales objectives and to support our Dealer Network.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Guide and support the Sales, E-commerce and Customer service teams, providing development opportunities to ensure peak performance.Target Achievement: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve national sales targets.Sales Strategy: Lead nationwide Sales team members to achieve sales goals and establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.Negotiation: Negotiate and close agreements with large commercial accounts.Performance Reporting: Monitor and analyse performance metrics and implement improvements.Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.What You Will Bring to the Team: Strong business sense and industry expertise together with the proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
Strong skills in leadership, sales planning and territory management, aligning services with customer needs.
Ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
