**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

We're seeking a skilled and experienced HR Professional to join our People & Communication (P&C) team in the role of Head of Change and Workforce Transition. You will be a key member of the P&C Leadership Team and you will be responsible for leading a team of skilled and experienced change and organisation design specialists. This team is dedicated to working with business group leaders on the evolution of the organisation from 29 separate geographically based entities to a unified integrated national organisation to position our people, our organisation and our system to deliver improved health outcomes for all New Zealanders.

**Mōu | About you**

You are a seasoned HR professional with experience in providing sound advice to senior leaders on change management processes and successfully collaborating with these teams to incorporate appropriate processes in their plans for organisational change. You will have proven experience supporting your stakeholders representing employees undergoing change when engaging with unions.

You will bring the tools needed to successfully lead large diverse teams through change with you, achieving improved results while navigating a highly nuanced and complex system. Your career has led you to have a sound understanding of data, business processes and continuous Improvement methodologies as essential tools to inform organisation design decisions.

Aa an influential leader and change enabler, you are known for creating successful change processes and keeping a clear focus on long term goals the organisation aims to achieve.

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Demonstrable system-wide experience in leading and managing through transformational system change
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing a HR or people and culture/capability workforce within an organisation where a high level of organisational acumen and political nous was required to create and deliver a strategic plan together with a multi-layered operating model
- Demonstrable experience successfully ensuring employee engagement through change and leading cultural transformation of an organisation
- Significant experience at an executive level within large public facing multi-faceted or complex environments with multiple consumer and political interests and expectations
- Significant experience of leading relationships with unions and leading industrial relations strategies
- Experience operating in a confidential/secure environment with access to sensitive information
- Previous public sector and health sector experience
