**Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi - About the Role**

Are you a highly organized, efficient and customer focused administrator looking to make a difference in education? Join the team at Ara until October 2025.

Admissions Administrators will promote Ara programmes, courses, and services through accurate and thorough programme and course advice. You will provide a customer focused, proactive, effective and efficient admission and enrolment service. You will actively promote the benefits of education at Ara in all interactions.

**Ngā Pūkenga Me Ngā Wheako - Skills/Experience**
- Qualification in NZ Certificate in Business Administration Level 3 / Level 4 or equivalent experience
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Advanced MS Office skills - especially in Excel, Word, and Teams
- Experience in a tertiary or regulatory environment
- Extensive administration experience
- Commitment to providing outstanding customer service, with recent experience in a customer service role
- The ability to quickly ascertain a customer's need through effective listening and questioning techniques
- An articulate, clear, and friendly communication style
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and highly pressured environment, without sacrificing quality
- The ability to work co-operatively as part of a multi-skilled team
- A friendly, cheerful, energetic and pro-active disposition, with the ability and enthusiasm to handle pressure
- Flexibility in order to meet the challenges of a role in a dynamic environment
- Awareness and sensitivity to other cultures in keeping with the Institution's values and goals
