Drainage Network Operator

**About the role**
The role is responsible will be a part of the Drainage Network team but may be required to work across other related teams as required. Task includes but is not limited to:
- Repairing and installing stormwater pipes and fittings
- Manhole inspections and maintenance.
- Maintain sewer/stormwater systems, including regular prescribed checks on grilles, overflow manholes and other drainage assets.
- Maintenance of all related drainage and water systems and area.
- Forestry block clearing of old treatment lines and maintenance of sprinkler systems
- Undertake physical duties such as digging/trenching and clean-up of work sites.
**About you**
- Current clean NZ Drivers Licence (Class 1)
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Works effectively in both a team and one on one situation
- Average computer literacy
- Must be able to read with good comprehension skills
- Must have sound basic mathematics skills
- Proven capability to work unsupervised and be self-motivated
- Understanding and commitment to hazard identification and risk assessment
- Be physically fit,
- Positive, punctual and reliable
