**About the Role**:
An excellent full-time opportunity exists for a Sales Administrator to join our high-functioning and successful sales team. This role will be based in our Auckland branch and will report to the National Truck Sales Manager. In the position, you will be responsible for effectively coordinating the purchase and delivery functions of MAN trucks and busses, Western Star trucks, MTU and Detroit engines and all other product lines that we distribute to dealers and customers.
Key job functions will also include:
- Liaise with our manufacturers to ensure accurate reporting of factory orders placed, pricing and build costs and arrival and delivery schedules
- Oversee the logístical aspects of vehicles deliveries into the country, by liaising with customs and local shipping companies to ensure customer service levels are met/exceeded
- Be the first point of contact with local agencies such as NZTA to ensure vehicle details are loaded in a timely manner
- Manage vehicle inventory and ensure all delivery inspections are completed and recorded as per OEM requirements
- Administer the purchase order and processing requirements of the sales department
- Maintain an up to date customer database
- Provide administration support to the wider sales team
- Assist the Product Engineer with sales and product related queries as required
- Support the National Truck Sales Manager to improve the product knowledge of dealer sales staff

- An ability to understand technical product information
- Previous heavy automotive experience or appropriate trade qualifications (highly regarded)
