We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Pacific Planned Care Navigation for the Pacific Health Service.
In this unique role, you will be ‘walking’ alongside Pacific patients who are referred to ADHB for First Consultation and then progressing to have a surgery. The core role involves supporting, clinical education and advocating for and navigating patients through the health care system. The role also involves close collaboration with our internal services and or external organisations to ensure successful delivery of quality care services and improved health outcomes for our Pacific people.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes:
- NZ Registered Nurse with a postgraduate qualification
- Current New Zealand Nurses’ Council Annual Practicing Certificate
- Five years of nursing experience especially in any surgical specialty
- Relevant clinical experience in secondary and primary health care
- Pacific cultural competency is an integral element of this role as well as being fluent in a Pacific Island language;
- An excellent team worker, communicator and a good ambassador of Pacific health and ADHB.
