**LagiOla Cultural Support Navigator**
LagiOla - Healthy Minds, part of The Fono, is dedicated to transforming health and wellbeing services for Pacific families. We are committed to enhancing mind health support and ensuring that Pasifika people have access to services that meet their wellbeing goals. Our work is guided by Pacific values, beliefs, and culturally appropriate ways of working.
**About the Role**:
We are seeking a passionate LagiOla Support Navigator to join our dynamic team at our Central, West Auckland and South locations. As a Support Navigator, you will play a crucial role in walking alongside clients and their families, helping them reach their wellness goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Navigation support**: Build strong agency connections that will assist clients in accessing and navigating a range of services, including NGO's, community organizations, and government social development services.
- **Cultural Alignment**: Work within a Pacific model of care, reflecting our core values and beliefs to support the overall wellbeing of Pasifika people.
- **Collaborative Approach**: Partner with General Practice and the LagiOla team, including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mind Health Practitioners, Health Coaches, and other Fono services to deliver integrated support.
**About You**:
- **Demonstrate Flexibility**: Be adaptable and open to using a variety of approaches to meet the needs of clients.
- **Show Commitment**: Have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the physical, mental, and social health of individuals and communities.
- **Embody Pacific Values**: Understand and respect Pacific cultural values and incorporate them into your practice.
