Pacific Whanau Ora is a family-centred approach which understands that families themselves know the best solutions to the challenges they face. The Pacific Whanau Ora Navigator is there for Pacific families living in Auckland to show them the ways to achieve their goals in health, education, economic development and culture.

It's an out and about role so duties will take you around your region from your base. 40 hours per week - salaried position.

**About You**:
We are looking for an enthusiast to join our Whanau Ora Navigator Team. You will:

- Value the _Whanau Ora _approach
- Have a sound understanding of the Pacific community sector where you live, with connections within it
- Believe and have genuine enthusiasm for what can be achieved by our Pacific people
- Know how to access community resources for families
- Be able to work flexibly
- A Pacific language capability may be an advantage
- Value and want to live The Fono approach to working with community groups and families
- Registered social workers preferred

- FonoCare - The Fono Integrated model of Care is an expanding range of high-quality primary health, mental health, dental services, public health, health support, whanau ora, social services - including the Feleoko family support/food bank to Pasifika and all who need our care. The Fono also has the Oceania Career Academy as a service providing, as a NZQA Category One tertiary institution, highly successful training and transitions to employment. _
