**Description**:
A little bit about the role

The Account Manager is the driving force behind securing and expanding revenue from DDS IT’s valued customers by developing excellent long term, profitable relationships.

You will work with both existing and new customers, making DDS IT a trusted partner for managing services, IT projects, and general servicing needs. This includes managing assigned customers, expanding the range of products and services ABC offers, and secure in new customers.

You are expected to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the IT and Cloud landscape, maintaining continuous awareness of industry trends, emerging technologies, best practices, and market dynamics. Staying abreast of current trends enables you to effectively align customer requirements with DDS IT’s product and service portfolio, ensuring the success of clients.

**Some Key Responsibilities include**:
**Account Management**:
Demonstrate a dedication to the customer lifecycle by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders to meet defined timelines and processes.
Act as the primary point of contact in account engagements, ensuring effective communication and understanding of customer needs.
Achieve sales targets for both retention and new business, contributing to the growth and success of the account portfolio.

**Business Development**:
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through engagement activities, networking, and industry events to expand the client base.
Work closely with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns, generating leads and building a robust sales pipeline to support business growth.
Prepare and present compelling proposals showcasing the value proposition of our IT Managed Services, collaborating with technical teams to align with client requirements and industry standards.

**Account Planning**:
Develop strategic plans to maximize business retention and identify new opportunities, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction levels.
Formulate plans to boost the performance of the customer portfolio, focusing on retaining and growing customer spend to achieve long-term success.
Provide quarterly revenue forecasts and create annual customer engagement plans, including regular client calls and visits, to continually improve customer satisfaction and stay attuned to industry challenges.
