Our Ngā Mātārae Portfolio team are looking for a Portfolio Analyst to join the tima. You will be responsible for supporting Ngā Mātārae to deliver the Māori Outcomes Fund, as well as supporting broader work programme activity and analysis for Ngā Mātārae.

Day-to-day you will:

- Support the management of Council and CCO Māori Outcomes work programmes
- Develop information and provide support to the governance boards overseeing the Māori Outcomes Fund
- Ensure a close working relationship with Māori Outcome Leads and project leads across Council and CCOs, as well as Council’s finance and risk teams
- Collate and analyse progress reporting and prepare regular monthly and quarterly reporting for managers and council committees
- Conduct project reviews and analyse portfolio information to identify gaps, discrepancies, risks and issues
- Support the analysis of data for Ngā Mātārae

**He kōrero mōu: About you**

Ideally, you will have a good understanding and appreciation of the workings and function of local government and have an ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and with staff at varying levels of seniority. We are also looking for experience of engaging with Māori and working in professional settings using te reo Māori me ōna tikanga.

You will need specific experience with:

- Programme and project management frameworks and their management and governance structures
- Data analysis tools to track and present information and insights to a range of audiences
- Working with mana whenua and mataawaka
- Leading and facilitating meetings with key stakeholders and partners
- Budget and resource management
