**About the opportunity**

Fonterra IT has embarked on a multi-year journey that will transform technology in order to support the Co-op’s purpose and desired business outcomes.

The role of an IT Portfolio Analyst is responsible for ensuring there is an integrated reporting approach across the full portfolio of IT projects and programmes that drives value back into the business and reduces risk.

You will design and implement scalable reports, utilizing suitable data visualization tools, to support streamlined advanced analytics that align with IT business plans. The role involves aiding data visualization efforts by creating accessible means to observe and understand data trends and actionable insights, leading to improved decision-making and increased business value.

Responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the quarterly planning process for all planned initiatives by partnering with all areas of IT to ensure there is adequate visibility via reporting and prioritisation of all potential work feeding the pipeline
- Ensuring there is adequate forecasting and reporting into the IT Strategic Portfolio Review and ITLT (IT Leadership Team) to enable prioritisation discussions and investment reallocation decisions throughout the year
- Embedding forecast accuracy reporting and other compliance metrics in conjunction with the IT PMO to dive improvements across IT project/programme delivery
- Working with the IT business facing teams and the chapters to embed commercial acumen including investment best practice into their processes
- Develop and maintain IT portfolio reporting templates and dashboards to ensure effective communication of portfolio performance to senior management and stakeholders.
- Analyse and interpret portfolio data to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance gaps, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Identify and implement improvements to reporting and analytical tools and techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of portfolio reporting and analysis.

**About you**
Attributes that will help you succeed in this role:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT portfolio reporting, analysis, or related field
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis, modelling, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate complex data and analysis to stakeholders.
- Good project management knowledge and ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels of an organization.
- Experience with IT portfolio management frameworks, methodologies, and tools (e.g., PMI, Agile, Jira) is preferred.
- Experience in BI reporting would be an advantage.
