About the role
The Senior Portfolio Analyst is responsible for assessing, monitoring and reporting on projects and programmes across the NZSIS and directly enables the effective management of the portfolio through highly detailed insights and trend analysis. The role is also responsible for workflow coordination of the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) to ensure the Manager is across progress of all activity and roadblocks.
Another key requirement is supporting the delivery of current and future requirements by influencing sustainable investment decisions through highly effective analysis and reporting products.

**About you**:
Your knowledge in portfolio or business analytics, alongside substantial experience in an enterprise-level PMO, will be key to your success and the following;
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Comfortable with ambiguity, can adapt to the unexpected and unique environment
- Proven experience in using a Business Intelligence (BI) toolset and insights reporting
- Lead portfolio benefits tracking and reporting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
- An in-depth understanding of portfolio management principles, processes, tools and documentation
- Proficiency in the use of Information Management and Communication tools ie. SharePoint and Planview
- Understanding of portfolio metrics and risk management
