Mō te tūnga - About the role
The Homes, Transport and Government group is responsible for making robust commercial investment decisions to advance energy efficiency, promote renewables and achieve carbon emission reduction. Within the group, the Public Sector Portfolio team manages the relationship with the State Sector's largest energy users.
The Portfolio Analyst will support the team with reporting and data analysis as we assess new projects; manage and monitor existing funded projects; and provide world-class relationship management and investment outcomes.
**On a day-to-day basis, this role includes**:
- engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, internally and externally
- monitoring trends, analysing developments and changes, and identifying possible interventions in energy use and efficiency
- engaging in detailed data analysis to ensure quality and accurate information.

**We are looking for someone who has**:
- a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience
- experience and skilled in data analysis and report writing
- excellent relationship management and communication skills
- self-motivation, with excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- strong initiative, with sound judgement and the ability to 'join the dots'
- a passion for EECA's purpose.
