**Are you Hamilton City Council’s new Public Health Team Leader?**

We’re looking for a leader, change manager and coach who can bring together our team tasked with protecting the public health of our community. If you think this leadership role could be for you, let’s talk.

Reporting to the Unit Director you will lead a team of specialist alcohol licensing inspectors and environmental health officers to fulfil Council’s statutory obligations under a broad range of legislation.

**For this role, you must have**:

- Strong and up-to-date knowledge and understanding of public health legislation and regulations, the investigation process of food safety and public health.
- 5 years leadership experience as a qualified environmental health officer/MPI warranted food safety officer or auditor.
- Qualification as defined in the Environmental Health Officers Qualifications Regulations 1993.
- MPI warranted food safety officer and MPI approved verifier of food control plans.
- A proven track record of coaching and developing staff to be the best version of themselves.

The salary is from $105,000 and is negotiable depending on the level of skills and experience you bring to the role.
