In this newly created role, the Head of Data and Analytics will take responsibility for setting the vision and overall data strategy for LIC, while taking active oversight of the day-to-day activities of the data and analytics team.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop and execute a data and analytics strategy that aligns with business goals and objectives
- Lead a team of data analysts to develop and deliver insights that meet business needs and drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the organisation to identify opportunities for new insights and features
- Develop roadmaps for data and analytics products and prioritise features based on business value
- Ensure data quality and accuracy across all products
- Communicate data vision and strategy to stakeholders
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners as needed
- Manage budgets for data analytics product development
- Developing go-to-market strategies for new data products

To succeed in this role, you'll work quickly to understand business needs, goals, and objectives and propose solutions at the intersection of product, data engineering, and data warehousing.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in senior digital product development or senior data analytics experience
- Proven experience leading the utilisation and governance of data
- Strong leadership capability and experience building high performing teams
- Strong analytical, prioritisation and negotiating skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of data visualisation and analytics tools
- Experience with machine learning algorithms
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Passion for building great products to solve customer and business problems
