Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our dynamic team in an exciting import business. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales activities of a small perfectly formed team, developing strategies to drive revenue growth, and building strong relationships within the industry.
**What you’ll do**:
- Strategy - Develop and implement sales strategies/tactics to achieve targets and revenue growth.
- Lead - Inspire, lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales stars providing guidance, training, and support to ensure success.
- Farm - Build quickly and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders.
- Hunt - Identify new business opportunities and markets, analyse market trends, and adapt strategies to best affect.
- Know - Industry trends, competitive pressures, tech advancements, understand and research the market, customer needs, preferences, and buying behaviour to help adapt product offerings and sales strategies.
- Collaborate - to develop effective promotional campaigns, product launches, and marketing materials.
- Analyse - monitor sales performance, generate regular reports, and present findings while highlighting areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Attend - trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and expand the customer base across New Zealand.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably in consumer electronics managing many SKU’s.
- Knowledge of consumer electronics, technologies, and market trends.
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of building and managing successful sales teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Examples of your ability to interpret data/market research to drive informed decision-making.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients, attend industry events, and visit international suppliers.
