Employing over 1200 staff in 13 locations across New Zealand, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand’s port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our client’s businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.

Our Auckland operation is looking for an experienced coordinator to join our team to coordinate and provide administration support for the delivery of training to the branch. As well as the training component this role will also cover maintaining HSE and policy compliance for C3 staff working at the Ports of Auckland.

The person we are looking for will have experience with Health & Safety compliance and/or Stevedoring and Port operations, be able to quickly understand our business and get out into the business to observe and ensure staff are complying to the required standards.

To be successful in this position you will need to be a self-starter, forward thinker and able to get out into our business and relate well with the staff.

Hours will generally be Monday to Friday, but as the port industry is a 24/7 business, you may on occasion be required to work weekends depending on shipping schedules.

To be considered for this position you will need;
- Sound knowledge of current law and H&S legislation
- Strong relationship building abilities and resilience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Desire to drive a strong safety culture
- Good administrative, planning and organization skills
