About the Role
Quality Bakers Auckland is New Zealand's largest plant bakery manufacturing some of New Zealand's most loved brands such as Vogel's, Freya's, Molenberg, and Natures Fresh. It has 5 plants, running 24/7 to produce 74 different products daily.
As the Training Co-Ordinator for Quality Bakers Auckland, you will take responsibility for coordinating all training activities. This will include management of standard operating procedures and training needs analysis to identify the need to provide refresher training as required to meet job specifications and legislative requirements.

**To make this happen, your responsibilities will include**:

- Identify training needs by conducting an annual training needs analysis, develop a cost-effective training plan and organise training with internal & external providers
- Review the sites training plan and maintain a skills matrix for cross-training and competency improvement
- Coach and support nominated internal (site) trainers
- Ensure all formal training courses are evaluated to gauge effectiveness and provide insights for improvement

About You
For this role to be a success you will have a background in training and development, and preferably a working understanding of a manufacturing environment.
Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include:

- An ability to engage with a range of functional teams to help support their training requirements in a way that will be understood
- Experience with Technical Writing to support training documentation
- Prior experience in the development of training programs and the delivery of programs
- A continuous improvement mindset and ability to leverage opportunities to change and innovate
- Baking experience would be a bonus
