We have a fantastic new opportunity for a **Quality Compliance Coordinator** based in our Auckland site. This is a 12-month parental leave cover opportunity with a start date in July 2024. As one of the key people on the Quality team, you will ensure adherence to all internal Food Safety & Quality Standards, FSSC-22000, and regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Food Safety Manager you will be responsible for conducting investigations and reporting related to customer complaints, exception and exporter non-conformance, NCR, and internal audits. You will also ensure systems are in place to continuously maintain traceability, and mock recalls.

You will:

- Conduct internal audits to ensure factory compliance with internal & external requirements and ensure gaps are closed in a timely manner
- Ensure factory compliance to internal requirements (HACCP, Global requirements & PRP), FSSC 22000, Organic, Halal and regulatory requirements
- Facilitate and participate in external audits as required
- Work collaboratively with the production teams for conformity of processes and to ensure that the products meet the standards set by Danone
- Use data analysis to provide recommendations on key focus areas in terms of quality defect type (Product Non-Conformance or Complaint) and root cause
- Participate in projects as required to improve Quality defect rate or other non-conformances

About you
You are a focused and proactive Quality professional with some experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. You are a great team player and have a good awareness of New Zealand regulations and standards within the Dairy industry. To be successful you will also have:

- Tertiary qualification in Chemistry/Food Science/Micro or equivalent field
- At least 2 years experience in a QA/QC role in FMCG is highly desired
- Prior experience with Audits and/or certification in Auditing Skills
- Good Understanding of GHP & GMP and HACCP
- Sound influencing and negotiation skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good experience in Microsoft Suite especially Excel
- Good attention to detail and ability to work with shifting priorities
