**About the opportunity**:
We have an exciting opportunity for an additional Senior Health & Safety Advisor to join our Recreation, Sports, and Events unit on a 12-month fixed-term basis.
You will play an integral role in our team, utilising your experience to achieve a consistently high level of health, safety and wellbeing best practice across all sites and activities of the unit. Supporting our current Senior Health & Safety Advisor and "RSE" team, you'll be required to drive continuous improvement and implement positive change across our network of facilities, whilst being part of an exciting period of growth within the unit.
**Some of your key responsibilities will include**:
- Positively promote and effectively facilitate health, safety and wellness across all functions of the unit.
- Build and foster relationships with leaders, staff and key stakeholders to enable meaningful collaboration.
- Continuously educate, coach and mentor managers and employees in health, safety and well-being business systems and processes, therefore advancing our health, safety, and wellness climate.
- Identify areas of improvement, make recommendations and implement the processes.
- Undertake investigations, reviews and developing systems and strategies and working alongside operational teams to advise on risk and best practice Health, Safety and Wellbeing.
**To be successful in the role you will**:
Have solid analytical & reporting skills and the know-how to demonstrate your ability to identify opportunities for improvement of operational performance in a business. Your passion for health, safety and wellbeing will be apparent as you partner with stakeholders within the organisation.
**Additional information**:
- Hours of work: Fixed-term for 12 months. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
- Location: This role will be based between our Civic offices, and our network of RSE Facilities.
