**Part-time 18 - 22 hours - **ideally suits 5 hours /day 4 days week, Mon - Thu - other options are possible also.

Fresh Choice Half Moon Bay and Epsom Supermarkets are looking for PAYROLL Administrators who also enjoy all aspects of HR.

As the Payroll Administrator, you will manage the payroll for 50-60 staff. The payroll is outsourced to Smart Payroll for processing, however internal reports, loading of correct data and a very good understanding of New Zealand pay legislation is required.

Specifically, you will:

- Advise and support Management with best practice regarding employee related issues and disciplinary processes
- Provide general HR administration support
- Be actively involved with the recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing and on-boarding, with support from Dept Mgrs
- Contract and induct new employees
- Manage daily time sheets and sign off
- Fortnightly Payroll processing and checking
- Maintain all staff training records,
- Manage Staff liquor licenses, and other courses
- Manage admin for HR Audits
- Deal with Payroll queries from internal and external stakeholders

What we're looking for:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven experience in payroll systems
- Excellent knowledge of relevant employment and pay legislation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Good experience multi-tasking using efficient work practices
- Intermediate/advanced computer skills

This position is ideal for someone with the ability to work under pressure, with a good sense of humour and a desire to improve and develop new skills

**Salary**: $25.00 - $29.99 per hour
