**About the role**:
We have exciting opportunities for a HR Administrator to join our HR team as we embark onto our next stage of continued growth.

As an HR Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our People Performance and Culture (HR) team to ensure that all HR admin processes run smoothly and efficiently.

As a HR Administrator, you will be responsible for;
- Posting and monitoring of adverts on our platforms
- Background checks of all new staff including MOJ, Drug testing and ACC Checks
- Onboarding and off boarding of new staff, with inductions.
- Payroll - ensure payroll is kept up to date with all time sheets and leave correct and accounted for in the system.
- Ensure all Health and Safety processes and procedure are maintained and compliant according to company guidelines.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.

**What you will bring**:
You will also need to be able to demonstrate strong administrative skills, a good understanding of the need for confidentiality, and first-class communication skills, as well as the aptitude to develop and maintain professional relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally you will have strong knowledge of HR legislation, policy, and best practices.
- New Zealand experience in a similar sized organisation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Datacom would be preferred.
- Great attention to detail with a proactive approach to tasks and the industry is very fast moving and can things change quickly.
- Be able to handle information of a confidential nature and must observe the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
