As the **National Operations Manager** you will oversee the functional operations of all locations throughout the country.
You will be key in assisting and providing support to all branch level staff with their operational functions and help remedy any issues that arise. You will implement budget control and isolate potential savings from an operational standpoint.
This is a new role in the business and a chance to drive the business forward.

**Some key responsibilities include**
- Provide inspired leadership throughout the organisation
- Make important policy, planning, and strategy decisions
- Develop, implement and review operational policies and procedures
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing
- Ensure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance
- Work with C-Level management to plan for short and long-term goals
- Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
- Build alliances and partnerships with other organisations
- Support worker communication with the management team
- Provide price comparisons
- Liaising with key suppliers with special rates
- Ensure maximum utilisation of the fleet
- Understand early trends and patterns in the system and recommend pricing changes as per seasonal fleet trends/activity and market conditions
- On boarding and off boarding of fleet over a variety of different terms
- Work with maintenance in getting vehicles in line with return standards
**To be considered for this position you will possess**
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ideally you will have automotive knowledge and experience
- Ability to be assertive, proactive and innovative with all tasks
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sound interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
- You will be able to prove previous leadership experience
- A good level of understanding of Microsoft suite
