Administrator - Accounts Receivables

We are looking for an administrator to join our Head Office team in Napier.
The Hawkes Bay Toyota Group is a large, franchised motor vehicle dealership and property group. We have been in business for 35 years and have Toyota Stores in Hastings, Napier, Greenmeadows, Gisborne, Taupo and Rotorua. We also have substantial property holdings with further developments on the horizon.
Due to the impending transfer out of the area of one of our long-term administrators we need another team member at our Head Office. We want someone to come on board as our Accounts Receivables Administrator and handle our Debtor function. You will be working at our Head Office in Napier as part of our tight knit Group Administration team.
This is a varied role in a fun and fast paced industry. It will suit someone with prior administration & accounts receivable experience wanting to grow their career and skills in a successful, large commercial environment. You will be working closely with our Finance Director and will gain great exposure to what makes a high functioning business tick.
Key Functions will be (but not limited to);
- Manage the Group Accounts Receivable Function includes actively following up overdue debtors whilst ensuring good working relationships with customers using company process and procedure.
- Process daily bank statements into the accounting system.
- Run and send out Monthly debtor statements.
- Learn and assist with vehicle sales processing.
- Assist with other GL reconciliations as required by Finance Director.
- Back up for Accounts Payable Function
- Answering phones and forwarding to appropriate Store staff where needed
