**The Role**:
How do we get from OK to great? Our client want's their employee experience to be 110% and are seeking for a new addition to the team with the ability to roadmap and vision the future state with leaders.

Newly created role to head up a pivotal arm of the business - you’ll be a swiss army knife bringing extensive technical knowledge, alongside proven experience managing a team within a multifunction operational environment.

This role requires somebody to champion developing the strategy and roadmap in order to uplift the maturity and outcomes of the IT Operations space. This will span across all areas of cost controls, operational up time, service objectives, scalability, and recoverability while managing operational risks to business acceptable levels - this is a meaty role that will draw upon all areas of your established expertise to impact some real change.

Most importantly you will have a passion for this space and have the confidence and communication skills to develop strong internal relationships and bring key stakeholders along the journey.

**To be successful, you'll need**:

- Strong infrastructure background
- Managed a multifunctional operational environment
- ITIL training would be beneficial
- Bigger picture, future state thinker as well as being able to get into the weeds of the current state and uplift capability
- Proven experience managing a team
- Ability to convey technical terms and translate into digestible information
- Highly organised and able to delegate
