- Salary: $112,856 - $138,028 Tēnei tūranga - About the Role: The Manager Technology reports to the General Manager within the eInvoicing branch in the Finance and Performance group.
- Adoption - working with the eInvoicing Adoption Team to ensure that organisations across New Zealand have access to the technical knowledge needed to make eInvoicing implementation and operation as easy, standardised and seamless as possible.
- New Zealand Peppol Authority (NZPA) - overseeing the operation of the NZPA including accreditation of Service Providers and complying with our OpenPeppol commitments.
- International eInvoicing community - working with Service Providers, the OpenPeppol community, the Australian Taxation Office, Asia Pacific eInvoicing community with core members of New Zealand, Singapore, Japan, and Australia.
The eInvoicing Team has a significant focus on growing the use of eInvoicing in New Zealand by helping organisations understand the benefits of eInvoicing and the cost to achieve them. Additionally, we work closely with the Australian government to ensure that the eInvoicing networks in both countries are as closely aligned as possible.
As the New Zealand Peppol Authority, we manage Service Providers to ensure that the Peppol standards are adhered to, and we ensure that the specifications used in New Zealand are up to date.

- In-depth experience working with technical solution analysis and design in order to deliver desired business outcomes
- Demonstrated ability and experience to clearly communicate technical information in plain language to non-technical professionals.
- Strong ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships to achieve common goals with stakeholders.
- Approximately 10 years’ experience producing technical advice including producing reference documentation and specifications, preferably, for financial services, and previous experience with using Universal Business Language (UBL)
- Demonstrated experience of payment processes and supply chain solutions e.g. Order to Cash, P2P, and any prevailing standards employed in those areas.
- High standards of professionalism and outcome driven with excellent attention to detail.
- Self-aware and focused on self-development and self-improvement.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or extensive and comparable relevant experience
