**What will you be doing?**

The Senior Claims Consultant performs a role that supports the operation of the Claims Department by attending to customer requests. It is a service role that manages the interactions, claim (and where applicable the administration) needs of customers on a day-to-day basis.

**You can expect to be across the following**:

- Liaising with customers and consultants to promptly resolve their claims and complaints in accordance with the wording and company's policies and procedures
- Responding to customer requests by promptly attending to their individual needs
- Ensuring that claims are settled in accordance with the policy wording, company's agreed policies and procedures
- Provide coaching and feedback to the claims team to ensure high performance levels are achieved.

**What you'll need**

**To be successful in this role, you will also be able to demonstrate the following**:

- Insurance industry knowledge
- Claims management experience
- Product knowledge in fire and general insurance
- Customer service experience
