Aroturuki Tamariki, the Independent Children's Monitor, monitors the oranga tamariki system, providing insights that will drive continuous improvement and improve outcomes for tamariki (children) and rangatahi (young people), particularly tamariki Māori.
The Kawhakahaere Mahinga me te Kaupapa Here / Manager Performance, Policy and Practice reports to the Kaiwhakahaere Rangitopu / GM Corporate, Strategy and Insights, and is part of the leadership team.
In this role you will lead a team of principal and senior advisors with a broad range of functions and responsibilities including ministerial and executive services and organisational governance, report writing, operational and corporate policy and associated guidance and tools, learning and development, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The salary range for this role is $136,999 - 170,488 and will be appointed based on skills and experience.
