Chess Power is a dynamic and rapidly expanding company dedicated to utilizing chess as a platform for fostering cognitive thinking skills and positive leadership behaviors among students. We organize a variety of chess tournaments aimed at schools across Auckland, New Zealand. Our upcoming series of events, called Clusters, are tailored tournaments for schools in specific suburbs of Auckland.

**Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Contacting all relevant schools to inform them about the upcoming Cluster events organized by Chess Power.
- Tailoring communication strategies to effectively engage with school administrators, teachers, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Providing detailed information about the Cluster events, including dates, locations, and registration procedures.
- Emphasizing the educational benefits of participating in chess tournaments, highlighting the development of cognitive skills and positive leadership behaviors.
- Addressing any inquiries or concerns from schools regarding the Cluster events and providing timely and accurate responses.
- Maintaining organized records of all communications with schools, including contact details, responses, and follow-up actions.
- Collaborating closely with the Chess Power team to ensure alignment with overall event objectives and strategies.
- Reporting regularly on outreach progress and attendance projections to track effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proven experience in marketing or sales over the phone, with a track record of successful outreach and engagement.
- Technically competent with technology.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, particularly in recording and tracking outreach efforts.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to outreach activities, with a willingness to take initiative and follow through on tasks.
- Familiarity with the education sector, particularly schools in the Auckland region, is desirable but not essential.
- Passion for chess and/or education is advantageous, but not required.
