**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, this role is responsible for putting together quotes, managing customer relationships and developing new business within our busy Waikato division. A good portion of this role is to farm our existing clients within the business, while also looking for new business in this area. As an Account Manager/Estimator, you will disseminate all sales/job information via our CRM system to the operations team who will be overseeing our site teams, working with subcontractors and liaising with our clients. The sales component of this role includes the ability to scope, price and sell the different services we offer to new and existing clients.
**ABOUT YOU**:Ideally you will have experience in account management, sales and estimating in the building maintenance or construction sector. A trade background is ideal. You will be systems savvy with the ability to pick up and proficiently work within our CRM system as well as Microsoft products. We are looking for someone:
- ideally with 4 years of sales and estimation experience gained within the construction industry or similar
- Energetic and confident with outstanding communication skills
- Resilient and hard working
- Able to manage relationships and sales with existing customers
- Diligent in following up with customers
- Competitive and has the motivation to excel and succeed
- Having an energetic proactive approach and strong work ethic is paramount to success in the role, as is the ability to learn quickly and ask the right questions.
You must be a team player and have a natural ability to develop strong working relationships internally.
