The Role


We are seeking an office based focused Estimator ideally with experience and knowledge in the building/construction industry to join our Hamilton based Facility Management team.


Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will contribute to the financial and operational performance through the preparation of timely and accurate estimates in accordance with the policies and procedures.

You will be responsible for actively communicating the risks and mitigation strategies within the estimate in order to allow operations to successfully deliver all contracted work with zero harm meeting budgetary requirements and quality standards.


Key responsibilities:

  • Estimation of pricing for School upgrades
  • Client interaction for client side approvals
  • Review of survey results from field surveyors
  • Mark up of supplied site plans

Skills and experience:

  • Appropriate qualifications in building/construction, LED, RCD, Acoustic, insulation products/installations is advantageous
  • Proven track record in estimating or related industry experience in a similar role
  • Mathematical competency
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
  • Satisfactory verbal and written communication skills
