Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the core of this role will be in promoting and gaining specifications for the business’s waterproofing, tiling, and flooring systems.

**About the role**:

- This is a role where your presentation skills, business acumen, and proven sales ability will be brought to the fore. You will be responsible for aligning product specifications with project requirements.
- Your success will come from seeking out and securing projects by developing and maintaining relationships with architects, engineers, and other key influencers in the South Island
- Proactively identify new business opportunities
- Facilitate product demonstrations for architects and relevant professionals
- Offer comprehensive and competent product support to clients

**About you**:

- Knowledge of waterproofing systems or construction membranes will be highly regarded
- You will have a strong track record in increasing and sustaining your presence in the field, specifically within the architectural market
- You can display a sound understanding of what constitutes a successful project-driven sales cycle
- You are driven to succeed and have loyal long-term existing relationships within the industry
- You are familiar with using CRM systems to document interactions, maintain records, and assign follow-up tasks
- You have the ability for 4-5 nights of overnight travel per month on average (travel is based on a 3-week schedule)
