Whānau Āwhina Plunket is the largest service in Aotearoa supporting the health and wellbeing of tamariki under-five and their whānau.

We are seeking a Community Support Coordinator in Central/East Auckland on a permanent part time basis - 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week - the days you work can be negotiated). You can work from your local Plunket Hub or from home.

**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

You will support and enable Plunket people to deliver community-based initiatives that promote and integrate Plunket values and Te Tiriti o Waitangi mana and principles. The Community Support Coordinator is the connector of whānau with our services.

This role works in partnership with the Community Services Team Leader, Plunket volunteers and other Plunket staff to co-ordinate and support our Parents group, lead and assist in the delivery of regional programmes, services, support, and activities, and manage, strengthen, and expand our volunteer network.

**He kōrero mōu | About you**

To thrive in this role, you will be a great communicator with strong organisation skills. You will have had prior experience working in a fast-paced role that requires you to be able to prioritise tasks, build positive relationships and work within multiple systems with ease. Prior experience working in a community setting, working with a volunteer workforce will be advantageous but not essential.

Ensuring the success of our pro-equity vision, you will be confident in engaging with local iwi and be able to effectively build relationship with whānau.
