About the position

Our Bulk Fuels team have an opportunity for an experienced Driver Trainer to join the Auckland team. In this role you will be providing support to our sites in Auckland and Mt Maunganui to ensure that our Bulk Fuel Drivers meet the requirements of the business. Reporting to the Auckland Operations Manager you will be responsible for the following;
- Participating and committing to Safety Standards and business requirements at all times
- Conduct training and practical assessments for Bulk Fuels Drivers, including (but not limited to) inductions, in-cab assessments, coupling assessments, task assessments
- Delivering practical and classroom-based training to Bulk Fuel Drivers
- Ensure training and assessment records are processed timely and accurately
- Travelling to the sites to implement training solutions as required
- Reviewing and conducting Training Needs Analysis to ensure training and assessment is industry best practice
- Build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders

The position is Monday to Friday, 50 hours per week roster. However, some flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the business.

About you

The successful applicant will possess the following:

- 5 years of relevant industry experience preferred
- Flexibility to travel for work regularly.
- NZ training qualification (New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Training - Level 5)
- Class 5 License
- Competent using MS Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
- A positive attitude and actively seek to assist your co-workers in achieving targets
- Experience in training course, moderation and assessment
- Effective written/verbal communication and presentation skills with great attention to detail
