Wellington City, New Zealand Access Community Health Full time

To facilitate, support and oversee all support worker training in accordance with Access Kaiāwhina Competency training, competencies, and qualifications in the region
- To contribute to the design and development of workplace training, comply with audit requirements and other tasks, to meet operational needs of the Access workforce
- To facilitate, support and oversee all training requirements of the region, including general induction of non-support worker roles.
**Key responsibilities**
- Keep-up-to-date and informed about Access policies and procedures to ensure services are delivered in a manner consistent with quality management systems.
- Maintain current knowledge of training curriculums.
- Plan, develop and deliver group and individual tuition as per the programme curriculum.
- Be responsible for the supervision, tuition, review, assessment of learners.
- Load unit standard and qualfication information into Careerforce iPortal and complete and maintain learner records and other administration linked to learning and progression.
- Produce regular reports on learning progression as requested by Access.
- Undertake relevant professional development to maintain curriculum knowledge and quality standards and actively participate in ongoing training content review.
- Facilitate training for other Access staff as required.

- Excellent verbal communication skills, coupled with a caring nature and the ability to connect and interact within a multi-cultural environment.
- A team player, someone who can build professional relationships in the community
- Teaching experience and qualifications in adult learning, nursing, allied health, or teaching
- Experience in Health sector is desirable
- Hold a registered assessor qualification and be an approved Careerforce Assessor or, has the ability to obtain this
- Hold or be prepared to undertake further study towards the Certificate in Adult Teaching.
- Intermediate level computer and on-line information recording skills
- The ability to plan and organise training effectively, to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a demanding environment
- Ability to self-direct and manage a busy workload
- A current full driver's license is essential
- A demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi in the workplace
- Actively demonstrates the ability and desire to show cultural sensitivity, awareness and understanding of diversity
