We are currently looking for an Accounts Payable Advisor for a 12-month temporary role based in Wellington CBD The role is with a large government agency with national reach who support the entire country through infrastructure programmes.
This role will suit someone who is immediately available, based in the CBD and displays at least 2 years of Accounts Payable experience within a large public or private sector working environment, knowledge of large FMIS such as Oracle or SAP, and having strong technical MS Excel abilities will also benefit
**_ General duties include:_**
- End to end accounts payable process
- Invoice processing
- Purchase order processing and raising
- Reconciliations
- Database management
- A wide range of different projects coming up within the government agency
- Internal & external customer engagement
**A bit about you**
- We are looking for experienced Accounts Payable Advisors who have had exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP and strong end to end accounts payables process abilities. You will need to be able to take a role immediately, able to work in the city on a temporary basis and be comfortable with working full time hours from Monday to Friday.
**To be successful in this role you must have the following**:
- 2 years + experience in an accounts payable role.
- Immaculate numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
- Ability to work within an ERP environment.
- Intermediate - advanced MS Excel experience: VlookUps / Pivot Tables / Formulas
- Friendly persona who can strike up conversation swiftly
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
