**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager of General Medicine and be accountable for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of clinical nursing care to patients after hours (afternoon shifts on weekdays and morning and afternoon shifts on weekends) and their family/whānau. On a daily basis you will be demonstrating clinical and professional leadership and co-ordination of the ward in addition to leading and supporting nursing teams in all aspects of nursing care management within the ward.
