Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialist

We have an opportunity for a senior nurse to join our Respiratory services.
The responsibilities of this advanced practice nursing role will include clinical management of respiratory patients that focuses on assessment, coordination of care delivery and management of patients with respiratory disease. You will also support patients with long term respiratory conditions, oxygen therapy and patients that are being nursed on non-invasive ventilation.
The role will involve education on treatment options and support services for patients and whanau as well as review of both new and follow up patients in the out-patient clinic setting. This will involve a close working relationship with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a smooth transition of care. An understanding of non-invasive ventilation will be an advantage.
We are a team that works at pace; with passion, vision and intent. Our Clinical Nurse Specialist role is pivotal to our success and will be expected to engage fully with the whole team.
