**Startegic Vegetation Manager**

Do you have exceptional project delivery, engineering or contract management skills and are looking for a positive change in your career? We have a newly created role for a Strategic Vegetation Manager which would suit a delivery focussed individual with an eye for the future who is able to develop and lead a progressive vegetation management strategy with a small team.

**Key Responsibilities will include**:

- ** Strategy & Risk Management**: Develop and implement long-term vegetation management strategies that reduce risks and enhance operational efficiency.
- ** Collaboration**: Partner with internal and external teams to integrate vegetation management into broader infrastructure planning.
- ** Compliance & Policies**: Establish policies to meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- ** Stakeholder Engagement**: Build strong relationships with landowners, regulators, and community groups to support vegetation initiatives.
- ** Data-Driven Solutions**: Leverage technology tools like LiDAR and satellite imagery to monitor vegetation and drive innovation.
- ** Budget & Contractor Management**: Oversee budgets and contractors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality outcomes.

Will be proficient in strategic planning, project delivery and stakeholder management as well as:

- A confident, self-motivated leader with a track record of being able to bring teams and stakeholders along on the journey;
- Tech-savvy, with a strong focus on innovation and process improvement;
- Skilled communicator and negotiator, able to “translate” the vision to others and balance multiple priorities;
- Detail-oriented and committed to operational excellence.
