The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) is a multi-award-winning entrepreneurship centre hosted in the Business School that excels in developing innovative and entrepreneurial mindsets and capabilities in students and staff from all faculties across Waipapa Taumata Rau. We help the University achieve its strategic goal of becoming a “global powerhouse of innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship” by nurturing talent and helping transform ideas into impactful ventures led by students, researchers, and staff. CIE delivers a suite of experiential trainings, workshops and programmes.
**Job Description** Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**

An opportunity has emerged for someone who is passionate about enabling the entrepreneurial potential of students and staff at the University of Auckland

We need someone eager, energetic and driven to develop and deliver the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship's (CIE) co-curricular and curricular innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, workshops, seminars and programmes. Our programmes develop participants' innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, and venture capability that enables and supports them to transform their ideas into a social or commercial ventures.

The CIE Programmes Advisor manages designated CIE programmes. The role is responsible for leading the co-design, management and delivery of a portfolio of innovation and entrepreneurship programmes and for supporting the operational delivery of the full suite of programmes.

This is a** fulltime** (37.5 hours per week), **permanent** opportunity.
Remuneration is $68,600-$78,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience.

We're looking for a kindred spirit who can craft and lead programmes, contributing their bit to shape the world by nurturing the next generation of change-makers.

You will bring:

- 3+ year's event, programme design and delivery
- Experience in a co-working, incubator or entrepreneurship programming environment
- Experience working in an environment with a strong customer service, community engagement
- Attention to details and strong planning and project management skills

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**

To flourish in this role, you’ll have some or all the below skills:

- People management skills, including strong mentoring and coaching ability and the ability to foster communities
- Excellent proven relationship-building skills
- Experience working in a highly complex administrative role
- Excellent computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft suite of programmes
- Proven time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Problem-solving ability requiring judgement and interpretation of established information
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills that enable liaising and negotiating confidently with a large and diverse internal client group Ability to work outside of regular office hours during events
