The Covert Online Investigation Team (COLT) is currently seeking Police employees to join the team as an Authorised Officer. As an Investigator, you will lead and support investigations into cyber-enabled Organised Crime and Online Child Exploitation.

Successful applicants will have the unique opportunity to contribute to a specialised investigative capability by enhancing tradecraft, developing covert engagement methods and identifying new investigative techniques.

COLT is looking for investigators who are self-motivated, passionate, have a positive mindset and capable of thinking outside the box when problem solving. They must be proactive in identifying opportunities to disrupt cyber-enabled Organised Crime and Online Child Exploitation.

This role is unique as online offending is borderless and requires investigators to build effective relationships with both domestic and international law enforcement partners. The role requires the highest level of integrity and an interest in covert policing.

- Must complete NZP COLT Authorised Officer Accreditation within 12-months of appointment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret National Security Clearance

**Utu ā-tau | Salary**

This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $79,948.00 and $92,919 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
