Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role
This role sits within our Investigations & Compliance Support directorate which is responsible for ensuring compliance across all of MPI's systems, as well as for the delivery of compliance & enforcement services across a range of business units.
As Investigations Coordinator, you will support and coordinate work undertaken by the wider Investigations group by:

- Providing support to the Manager Investigative Practices and Capability Development and the team
- Receiving and triaging complaints and referrals, recognising urgent issues and identifying them to management
- Documenting complaints and referrals
- Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate information and guidance
- Monitoring and maintaining databases and systems to ensure users are recording accurate and timely information and following procedures
- Retrieving information from databases for internal and external stakeholders & presenting information in excel and word
- Maintaining Investigation documentation and electronic hubs/libraries.

Mōu - About You
To be successful in this role, you will have strong data entry experience with a high level of speed & accuracy and expertise in managing & retrieving information from databases.
In addition to your proven experience above, you will also ideally have knowledge of regulatory compliance and confidence in using multiple technical systems both administratively and operationally, and experience in producing procedural documentation.
Importantly, you will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will also have excellent time-management, organisational, and attention to detail.

The Investigations team sits within the Investigations and Compliance Support directorate. Our team's mandate spans a broad range of Acts that MPI administer. We take responsibility for Acts without a dedicated compliance group, and we accept referrals from other groups and co-regulators. We also assist officers and co-regulators with their investigations. We have a varied workload as we investigate matters across many of the Acts MPI administer
