With a strong growth focus we have an awesome opportunity for a Health, Safety and Environment Manager to join our team.

**The role**:
Reporting to the People and Performance Manager, this is a hands-on role that will support the General Managers of our Feisst Electrical, Eastside Refrigeration, Select Alarms and Structured Technologies team to meet our guiding safety principle to do what's right, do what's safe. We will be seeking to gain an Environmental accreditation this year and will look to this person to drive that process. Key areas of responsibility will include:

- Management of Health and Safety activities for the allocated companies seeking to eliminate work-related injuries and illnesses by proactively managing risks.
- Foster engagement and promote best health and safety practices.
- Conduct site audits and event investigations and reporting ensuring that corrective actions are implemented.
- Rehabilitation management working cooperatively with ACC and Occupational Therapists.
- Manage and drive the Environmental Accreditation process.
- Oversee Health and Safety training ensuring compliance is maintained on site.
- Work with NPE Tech Health and Safety Manager ensuring consistency across the Feisst Group Health and Safety practices.

**About you**:
You will:

- Have experience in a similar Health and Safety role within NZ.
- Understand current Health and Safety legislation.
- Have excellent communication skills and can influence others.
- Be an excellent role model in Health, Safety and Environment
- Pragmatic approach with excellent relationship building skills
- Experience with Environmental accreditation is preferred.

Experience in the construction or similar industry will be an advantage.
