**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**

This is an exciting opportunity for you to join our multidisciplinary team at Kaitaia Hospital as an Inventory Coordinator. Bring your stock control experience to an established team delivering equipment and consumables needed to maintain efficient and effective services within the hospital environment.
- Maintaining the inventory of each department so there is no over flow of stock
- Solving queries of nurses regarding any supply issues
- Scanning for each department in the hospital
- Receipting of supply coming to the hospital
- Setting up new departments with labels and inventory for scanning
- Keeping the wards clean and tidy and stocking shelves if required
- Following up backorders for suppliers and coordinating with stores to ensure efficient delivery to the hospital

- Proven time management and priority setting skills
- Experience working in materials management and purchasing
- Outstanding problem solving and planning skills
- A team player with the willingness to learn protocols and best practice procedures appropriate to the handling and /or supply of sterile items
- 3 years of secondary education preferred
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
