Are you detail-oriented and passionate about inventory management?Look no further Join us at the Briscoe Group Distribution Centre in Wiri/Drury as an Inventory ControllerAs an Inventory Controller, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels at our Distribution Centre and ensuring matching of transactions and stock levels between the Warehouse Management System (Manhattan Scale) and SAP. We value the strength of collaboration and connection within our organisation and foster innovative thinking.Additionally, we offer plenty of benefits to our team members, including exclusive team member discounts, discounted gym memberships and health insurance, as well as access to financial wellbeing resources.The Inventory Controller will be responsible for:Inventory Management:Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, operational efficiency and minimise overstock or stockouts.Stock Audits:Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.System and Interface Monitoring:Monitor interfaces between the WMS and other systems, identify any stuck or missing records or transactions, and undertake corrective actions.Data Analysis and Reporting:Analyse inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Generate reports on inventory performance and provide actionable insights.Coordination and Collaboration:Collaborate with finance, systems, warehouse, and retail teams to coordinate inventory activities and resolve any issues related to stock discrepancies.Safety, Compliance, and Continuous Improvement:Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in inventory management.About you:To be successful in this role you will need:A minimum of 3 years' experience in inventory control or warehouse management.A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration would be beneficial.Technical proficiency in inventory / warehouse management software and MS Office Suite.Proficient organisational and time management skills.Excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in assessing and effectively mitigating risk.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.An appreciation for the importance of Health and Safety in the workplace.How to ApplyClick apply now to apply online.Applications Close:24 December 2024If you have any questions or need further information please contact Samantha Brown, People and Talent Specialist on ****** must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold New Zealand Permanent Residency or Citizenship.
