Join our team as an Inventory Controller and play a vital role in managing maintenance-related inventory and high-volume items. This is your opportunity to contribute to the efficiency and success of our operations.

As an Inventory Controller, your primary objective will be to manage and optimize all maintenance-related inventory, ensuring accuracy, safety, and efficient utilization of resources.

**Ke**y Responsibilities**:

- Manage the vehicle parts store, ensuring proper identification and safe storage of holdings.
- Maintain a sufficient stock of fast-moving repair parts and consumables for maintenance areas.
- Coordinate external repairs of exchange vehicle/unit/compactor components.
- Assist the maintenance team in requisitioning repair parts and services.
- Centralize and optimize bulk maintenance consumables.
- Explore opportunities for contracted/preferred suppliers to enhance supply efficiencies.
- Cultivate and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Maintain comprehensive maintenance inventory and bin databases.
- Conduct regular stock/bin reconciliations.
- Improve goods inward receipting processes.
- Collaborate with the Planner Scheduler for CMMS data input, asset creation, and database amendments.

- Ensure excellent customer service for internal and external stakeholders.
- Uphold statutory obligations and company policies.

**Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications**:

- Significant experience in technical and operational asset management.
- Proficiency in inventory functions, including invoicing, purchasing, and tracking.
- Familiarity with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Strong safety leadership record.
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
- Excellent time management, numerical, and analytical skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Experience in automotive or engineering maintenance is essential.
- Current NZ driver's license.
