**Mō te tūnga | About the role**
The primary role of the Inventory Coordinator is to carry out computer based accounting and coordination of stock for the Defence Munitions Management Group.
Duties will also include:
- Maintaining an accurate electronic and physical database of stock.
- Conducting physical stock checks to ensure stock is accurately reflected on SAP, as well as conducting discrepancy investigations and recommendations for remedial action.
- Accurately performing computer accounting transactions and adhering to correct NZDF supply and ledger procedures.
- Issuing, receipting, and physically transferring both ammunition and non-ammunition goods alike.
- Managing customer requests and requirements to ensure smooth and efficient service.
This role is based in a warehouse environment in Birkenhead, Auckland.
Once you have undergone training and are up to speed, there is the option of flexible working arrangements.

- Strong IT skills: Proficiency in SAP (or another corporate ERP System) and MS Office suite.
- Experience in Warehousing activities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of people.

Low Level Security Clearance
- You **must** be a New Zealand citizen **or** you must hold New Zealand Permanent Residence **or** have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa.
- At minimum, you **must** hold New Zealand Permanent Residence **or** have a current New Zealand Residency Class Visa, **and** you must be a citizen of and have lived in Australia, Canada, United Kingdom, United States of America or New Zealand continuously for the last five (5) years.
- You must have a five (5) year background history that can be verified and assessed appropriately by the NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) to determine if you are suitable for a security clearance at this level.
