Te Haeata/The Opportunity
Te Kura Kaiwhakawā/Institute of Judicial Studies (Te Kura) is the education arm of the judiciary providing education and development for judges throughout their careers.
The Pacific Justice Sector Programme (PJSP) is a multi-jurisdictional initiative guided by the Pacific Chief Justices' 15-member Leadership Forum, which includes Aotearoa New Zealand's Chief Justice Winkelmann in her capacity as Chief Justice of Tokelau. The PJSP aims to promote a stable, prosperous and resilient Pacific through support for the development of accessible, fair, responsive and efficient justice systems.
The programme encompasses a wide range of services and activities spanning mentoring, professional development and technical training, through to enhancing human rights and gender and family violence responsiveness.
As Support Services and Programme Coordinator you will provide administrative support to PJSP team and its governance committees, and support the implementation of events and activities.

You are resilient, forward thinking and highly organised, responding positively changing priorities. You understand and recognise cross-cultural issues and are open to continued learning about yourself and others in the diverse communities you will be working with across both New Zealand and the Pacific.
You will have
- Diary management experience
- Advanced ability with full MS Office suite of tools
- Advanced level of proficiency in office procedures, business processes and database management, and the ability to adapt and learn new processes
- Demonstrated ability to role model Pacific best practice by facilitating and delivering high quality, culturally appropriate and co-designed solutions.
- Proven ability to multitask across your work and deliver high-quality results within deadlines and budget

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $63,066 and $87,387 based on skills and experience.
