**He angitūtanga: The opportunity**
This role will be based at Central Libary where you will work closely with a super-star team to provide rich experiences for whānau and stakeholders within the Central City community.
You will be a part of the Communities team within our Central Hub. You will be working within a whānau that has a team culture strong in te reo and tikanga Māori, a place where everyone can feel they belong.

We are a multi-site integrated hub, which means we do it ALL Not only does our mahi encompass the Central City Library, but we also deliver great programmes at the Ellen Melville Centre, the Albert Park Caretaker’s Cottage and Te Wharekura.

**He kōrero mōu: About you**
We are in search of someone who is not only passionate but actively involved in supporting the youth in the city centre. Someone who thrives when working with community and has the curiosity and imagination to support our youth programming.
- Have a very strong people focused work ethic
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoy day-to-day frontline library service and the opportunity to connect directly with our library patrons.
- Comfortable with technology and able to support customers to successfully use information resources and devices
- Experience working with tamariki and rangatahi
- Use your knowledge and skills to engage in regular library programming and create new programmes with a focus on improving literacy and connecting people to library services.
- Flexibility and collaboration across all aspects of your mahi
- Knowledge/understanding of Te Ao Māori or willingness to learn
